Washington Heights Technology Center
MISSION STATEMENT:
“Provide WashingtonHeights Tenant’s and other local residents with a comprehensive technology-supported learning environment that incorporates the principles of holistic human development, empowerment and self realization and develops innovative strategic partnerships to maximize positive outcomes and achieve term program sustainability.”
Washington Heights Tenant's Association is committed to enhancing the quality of life and providing technological access to low and moderate income families in and around our community. We believe that this can be demonstrated through the Center for Information Resources, Collective Learning and Empowerment Project (C.I.R.C.L.E Project).
The leadership of Washington Heights’ housing development believes that there are three keys to building a successful life for residents in our community:
- INFORMATION - is at the core of overcoming life’s challenges and moving into a position to prosper.
- LEARNING - is essential to inward growth, outward expression and upward mobility.
- EMPOWERMENT - is achieved through self-discipline, self-esteem, and self-actualization.
In today’s fast paced world of electronics we still know and understand the need for humanistic program development. You will be able to find it here; Awareness building, Business core skills development, After-School educational support/tutorial programs. WE also provide a means to access internet-links to; Health services, Faith Based, Financial institutions and other business organizations. We also provide copying and faxing services, as well as support the transient business professional by becoming their office away from their office.
