MassIMPACT provides skills development workshops on the use and development of music and audio messages via digital technology. Also covered in a more intense format in the digital Storytelling workshops, these sessions allow participants to focus on the methods required to create and convey compelling messages and audio-based entertainment that can be integrated into a multimedia product or stand alone as a positive and compelling force.

Wayne and Wax

MassIMPACT collaborates with a Harvard University-based project called WayneandWax.org that creates web-site designs and digital music for use in a secondary school setting. Mass IMPACT has worked closely with WayneandWax.org as a partner in the implementation of the 2003 Summer Program and school year-based programming that are currently underway in the Cambridge and Boston public school systems. With the ability to enhance current curriculums and reach thousands of young minds, the WayneandWax.org Program has tremendous potential and promise across Massachusetts.
